Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Surgery Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our clinical team, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of the practice, including managing supplies, maintaining accurate records, and performing quality audits.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of new policies and procedures.
  • Manage our clinical system, including entering patient information, managing workflows, and performing data analysis.
  • Support the management of our practice, including assisting with the development of business plans, budgets, and performance reports.

Person Specification

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in clinical systems, including Emis Web, and experience with coding, IIF, and QoF would be advantageous.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
