Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of statutory records and registers for all entities within the group.
• Manage share capital activities, including the upkeep of the issued share capital schedule, share allotments, and preparation of necessary filings.
• Ensure timely submission of all required documents to regulatory bodies, including Companies House and the National Storage Mechanism (NSM).
• Assist in the organization and management of board and committee meetings, including the preparation of draft agendas and meeting logistics.
• Conduct research on emerging governance trends and regulatory changes affecting publicly listed companies.
• Draft routine regulatory announcements for review, including Transaction Notifications, Shareholder Meetings, and Financial Results.
• Support the management of insider lists and pre-clearance processes for trading in company shares, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist with annual reporting processes, particularly focusing on governance sections and timelines for document distribution.
• Collaborate with the Senior Corporate Governance Assistant in planning and coordinating shareholder meetings.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience in a corporate governance role within either a public or private sector environment.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with progress towards CGI or similar accreditation.
• Strong understanding of governance practices and corporate administration to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
• Awareness of the risks inherent in the role and their implications for the organization and its stakeholders.
