Role Summary:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Fleet Logistics Coordinator (FLC) to become a vital part of the Engineering Support Team at BAMG. The FLC plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Logistics, Inventory, and Production teams to ensure that all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles are readily available to support the aircraft maintenance schedule while maintaining data integrity. This position will require shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both planned and unplanned resources, including materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles, to meet operational needs and maintenance schedules, demonstrating initiative in overcoming challenges.
  • Oversee local data accuracy and assist in the management of unserviceable and serviceable materials, including support for fitting and removal.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, ensuring timely and accurate exchanges of information.
  • Adhere to all relevant company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards as directed by the line manager or business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 2 qualifications (O Grade/Standard Grade/Nat 5) or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Familiarity with BA Engineering IT systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IPC and technical publications/information systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to work shifts as required.

Experience Required:

  • Proficient in EWS systems.
  • Strong numerical skills with a solid problem-solving capability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procedures and terminology relevant to aircraft maintenance, logistics, and regulated environments.
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
