About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mountain Warehouse as a People Business Partner, reporting directly to the People Director. As a key member of the People Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Retail Teams across the UK and internationally with all People-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Retail Directors, Regional, and Country Managers to drive commercial performance through coaching, succession planning, and focused delivery of people initiatives.
  • Work alongside the HR Support services in the UK and internationally to ensure consistent practices, communication, and development of policies.
  • Support the development of a great colleague experience by driving progression and change through the management and development of relationships with external HR solutions partners and employment law advisors.
  • Lead on Pay and Reward across retail, including annual salary reviews, NMW uplift, international equivalents, bonus, and new benefit opportunities.
  • Partner with the L&D team on training needs, development, and succession planning to ensure the growth and development of the Retail Teams.
  • Support data capture across retail to enable improved people processes, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience within Retail or a multisite brand with an international presence.
  • Relationship management, especially at managerial and stakeholder levels.
  • Logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for evaluating business metrics and determining ways to make improvements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws, including inclusion and diversity programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the industry, focus area, and business trends.
