Overview of the Role

This position focuses on managing strategic partnerships within Capgemini's UK Business Unit, specifically dedicated to one of our key strategic partners.

As a member of the Group Strategic Initiatives and Partners team, reporting to the UK Head of Partner Management, the Strategic Partner Manager is tasked with overseeing the governance and strategic direction of established partnerships while fostering additional business growth in collaborative accounts. This role is pivotal in nurturing and enhancing the ongoing relationships between Capgemini and partner teams, steering the long-term vision of our strategic alliances. Responsibilities include the development of partner opportunities, strategic deal management, joint account planning, leadership communication, performance reporting, and partner program oversight.

The position requires close collaboration with Market Units, Applications Business Lines, and Centers of Excellence (CoE) leadership to generate significant business value through sustained growth in partner bookings, accelerated joint initiatives, and strategic advocacy for critical deals. The role emphasizes differentiation in the market through exclusive strategic initiatives and industry-aligned solutions, ensuring alignment on portfolio strategy and maintaining a robust pipeline of partner-related opportunities.

Hybrid Work Environment: The work location will vary based on your role, needs, and business requirements, combining company offices, client sites, and remote work, with the understanding that full-time remote work is not an option.

Successful candidates will undergo a series of pre-employment checks, including identity verification, nationality or immigration status, employment history for the past three years, and a criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary advocate for SAP technology stacks within Capgemini, communicating updates on product developments, organizational changes, and new industry solutions while maximizing Capgemini's visibility within the regional SAP organization; Serve as the main contact for all SAP-related inquiries from the UK business, ensuring full engagement with established Partner Programs as outlined in the SAP Partner Agreements; Lead Joint Account Planning initiatives for strategic accounts, collaborating closely with Market Units, Business Lines, and CoEs across the full spectrum of SAP technologies, including cloud-driven S/4 transformations; Develop and implement programs to identify and advance joint strategic opportunities with SAP counterparts, contributing to critical deals and securing support from SAP leadership and external stakeholders; Oversee reporting on SAP business metrics for the Business Unit, including influenced revenue, rankings, bookings growth, and funding allocations; Coordinate sales materials for the SAP business, ensuring alignment with SAP messaging and vision; Formulate the SAP Partner Marketing strategy, manage marketing operations, and lead growth campaigns for SAP, overseeing the deployment of strategic initiatives and go-to-market programs.

Required Skills and Experience

In-depth experience and understanding of the SAP market and ecosystem, including solutions, channel partners, and technologies; Comprehensive knowledge of demand generation, pipeline management, and reporting; Proven experience in sales or sales support for large, complex deals, with a thorough understanding of the sales cycle; Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships; A proactive self-starter who leverages skills, technical knowledge, and commercial insight to navigate complexities and changes.
