Role Overview:
The PMO Planning and Resourcing Analyst is a pivotal position within our client's Portfolio Team, responsible for ensuring effective oversight of the IT change portfolio while maintaining a comprehensive 12-month portfolio plan.

In this role, you will report directly to the IT Portfolio Delivery Manager and collaborate closely with Project Managers, project stakeholders, and the broader IT team to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

As a PMO Planning and Resourcing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the timely integration of schedule updates into the portfolio plan, ensuring precision and version control.
  • Aligning the 6 and 12-month plans with a consolidated budget overview, including projections, milestones, and deadlines for ongoing projects and new demands, along with resource profiles.
  • Creating dashboards and conducting performance tracking and analysis across the entire portfolio.
  • Assisting in the formulation and upkeep of project plans, identifying and monitoring dependencies between various projects and streams.
  • Building strong relationships with project managers, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of project-related processes, methodologies, tools, templates, and systems to facilitate efficient project delivery.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing large, dynamic portfolios and will be a proactive, self-driven individual with a strong focus on planning.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven project and portfolio planning capabilities, with experience using project management and planning tools such as MS-Project.
  • A background in Portfolio Management, PMO, and Project Management.
  • Familiarity with project governance, methodologies, and controls.
  • High proficiency in the complete MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in clear, non-technical language.
  • Comfort in challenging and validating plans to ensure accuracy.
