Role Overview:
The PMO Planning and Resourcing Analyst is essential in ensuring effective management of the IT change portfolio, maintaining a comprehensive 12-month portfolio plan.

Reporting to the IT Portfolio Delivery Manager, this role is pivotal within the IT projects and change function, fostering collaboration with Project Managers, stakeholders, and the broader IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a PMO Planning and Resourcing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring timely updates to the portfolio plan, maintaining accuracy and version control.
2. Integrating the 6 and 12-month plans with a consolidated budget overview, including milestones and deadlines for ongoing projects and new initiatives, along with resource allocation.
3. Preparing dashboards and conducting performance analysis across the entire portfolio.
4. Assisting in the formulation and upkeep of project plans, identifying and tracking interdependencies among projects and streams.
5. Cultivating strong relationships with project managers, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners.
6. Contributing to the enhancement of project-related processes, methodologies, tools, templates, and systems to facilitate efficient project execution.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing extensive, evolving portfolios and will be a proactive, self-driven individual with a strong focus on planning.


Essential Qualifications:
1. Proven project and portfolio planning expertise, with familiarity in project management and planning tools such as MS-Project.
2. Background in Portfolio Management, PMO, and Project Management.
3. Knowledge of project governance, methodologies, and controls.
4. High proficiency in the complete MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in clear, non-technical language.
6. Comfort in challenging and validating plans to ensure accuracy.
