Salary:

Role Overview:
As a PMO Planning and Resourcing Analyst, you will be a vital part of the Portfolio Team within a leading charity in the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective management of the IT change portfolio, maintaining a comprehensive 12-month portfolio plan.


Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the IT Portfolio Delivery Manager and collaborate closely with Project Managers, stakeholders, and the broader IT team to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

1. Manage the timely integration of schedule updates into the portfolio plan, ensuring precision and version control.
2. Align the 6 and 12-month plans with a consolidated budget overview, including milestones and deadlines for ongoing projects and new demands, as well as resource profiles.
3. Prepare dashboards and conduct performance tracking and analysis across the entire portfolio.
4. Assist in the creation and upkeep of project plans, identifying and monitoring dependencies among projects/streams.
5. Foster strong relationships with project managers, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners.
6. Contribute to the enhancement of project-related processes, methodologies, tools, templates, and systems to facilitate efficient project delivery.


Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing large, dynamic portfolios and will be a proactive, self-driven individual with a strong focus on planning.


Essential Qualifications:
1. Proven project and portfolio planning skills, with experience in utilizing project management and planning tools such as MS-Project.
2. Background in Portfolio Management, PMO, and Project Management.
3. Familiarity with project governance, methodologies, and controls.
4. High proficiency in the complete MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in clear, non-technical language.
6. Confidence to challenge and validate plans to ensure accuracy.
