About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of CAMHS services
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior staff
  • Engage in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes

Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and cope with competing demands
