Job Summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Team Lead in our Secure Services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that address the complex needs of patients with severe mental health problems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Provide training and education to staff on topics related to mental health, secure care, and leadership.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care and staff development.
    • Make informed decisions that balance the needs of patients, staff, and the organization.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff engagement, retention, and morale.
    • Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, and respect among team members.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in mental health and secure care.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance leadership, management, and clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the UK.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a secure mental health setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of success in improving patient outcomes and staff performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
