About the Role

Morgan Sindall Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bid team, you will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of the bid process to ensure our company's success in securing new contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to meet client requirements and exceed expectations
  • Lead the bid team in the development of high-quality proposals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Coordinate and manage the governance process, ensuring all necessary approvals are in place
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, designers, and supply chain partners
  • Provide guidance and support to bid team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Monitor and analyze bid performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve bid outcomes
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • Bid management training, such as Shipley or the Winning Bids Masterclass
  • Proven experience in bid management, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
