As a Digital Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, creating technical reports, and providing expert advice to customers and internal teams.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of digital applications for our customers. You will work closely with our engineering and development teams to resolve complex issues, improve documentation, and enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our Digital Suite software, including analysis of diagnostic files and collaboration with internal teams.
  2. Work with customers and field service engineers to resolve technical issues and provide expert advice.
  3. Support the implementation of digital applications, including connectivity to our cloud platform and ensuring solutions are operating as expected.
  4. Collaborate with our sales and service teams to advise on technical aspects of bids for upgrades or new systems.
  5. Work closely with the development and product teams to improve documentation, user experience, and support validation.
  6. Coordinate the integration of digital applications into systems, including modifying technical drawings and conducting bench testing.

Requirements

  1. A relevant degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or significant experience in Operational Technology networks.
  2. Experience working with industrial control systems and industrial analytics, such as design, installation, or maintenance.
  3. Familiarity with digital and remote monitoring applications.
  4. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  6. Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas for short-term working.
  7. Valid UK/EU passport to meet travel requirements.
  8. Possession of or ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
