Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Technical Support Engineer to join our team at GE Vernova's Power Conversion business. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of industrial control systems and digital applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for our Digital Suite software, including troubleshooting, technical reporting, and expert advice.
  • Lead the engineering and implementation of Power Conversion's digital applications, collaborating with project teams to apply digital solutions to their systems.
  • Work closely with customers, field service engineers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability and stability.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to advise on technical aspects of bids for upgrades or new systems.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of documentation, user experience, and support validation for our digital products.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Software Engineering or related field, or significant experience in Operational Technology networks.
  • Experience working with industrial control systems and industrial analytics, such as design, installation, or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with digital and remote monitoring applications.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid UK/EU passport to meet travel requirements.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
