Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Workforce Partner to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Organizational Change: Work closely with senior leaders to design and implement strategic workforce interventions that drive business effectiveness and service quality.
  • Provide HR Advice: Offer expert guidance and support to managers and staff on employment relations issues, including complex HR caseloads and employee relations matters.
  • Lead HR Team: Manage a team of HR professionals to ensure the provision of an excellent HR service, including recruitment, appraisal, and performance management.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide HR and business-related advice on workforce aspects of service transfer or new service implementation.
  • HR Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies and practices that align with business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training courses on all aspects of people management for managers.
  • Payroll and Pensions: Develop and maintain effective links with payroll and pensions providers.
  • Financial Management: Manage a delegated budget and be responsible for one or more specialist areas of HR service provision.

Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent / Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
  • Certifications: CIPD qualified or significant demonstrable experience.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in an HR generalist role and providing specialist HR advice on complex employee relation matters.
  • Skills: Sound knowledge of up-to-date employment law and related legislation, demonstrable experience in practical change management techniques, and partnership working.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR Information systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel independently as required.
