Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Operations Manager will be tasked with:
  • Executing the Logistics strategy while achieving established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Leading and nurturing the Logistics team to drive value and results for the Mortar division.
  • Overseeing project management, guiding team initiatives, and ensuring timely project delivery through meticulous planning and organization, including the introduction of innovative working methods.
  • Conducting FORS audits, onboarding of transport partners, and vehicle inspections. Additionally, you will facilitate safety meetings with transport partners and assess their safety performance.
  • Managing the transportation and distribution of all Mortar Products.
  • Assisting in the effective application of policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Implementing new policies or refining existing procedures to reduce costs, enhance accuracy, improve customer service, and fulfill product distribution requirements.
  • Supporting the logistics team in ensuring compliance with vehicle and driver regulations (including tachographs, maintenance, record-keeping, and driver training).
