Human Resources Consultant

A prominent player in the manufacturing sector, operating in over 40 countries, is looking for a Human Resources Consultant to join their team in the North Bristol area.
This role is part of a dedicated team focused on employee engagement and innovative HR practices. As a member of a two-person HR team supporting the HR Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of essential functions:
Key Responsibilities:
- Align HR strategies and objectives with the overall goals of the organization.
- Stay informed about employment legislation to ensure compliance and best practices in managing personnel, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Oversee HR systems, including the implementation of a new time and attendance system, while offering training and support to staff and management as needed.
- Facilitate comprehensive Human Resources planning, recruitment, and selection processes to attract candidates with the appropriate skills and experience, particularly for operational roles.
- Ensure accurate administration of employee compensation and benefits, including salary, bonuses, pensions, and healthcare options.
The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Consultant position will possess operational HR experience and a solid understanding of employment law. You should have knowledge and experience in the recruitment process, the ability to advise and support line managers on employee relations, and a proactive approach to being visible within the organization.
As a vital member of the HR team, you will contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance HR practices.
