We are seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to become a vital part of our Technology division at Tesco Bank.

In this role, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of the services delivered by key strategic suppliers to your designated business areas, collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders and monitoring performance, service quality, and risk factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage essential internal client and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment of business and supplier objectives while adhering to business conduct guidelines.
  • Analyze trends, summarize insights, and provide feedback on current contract performance, contributing to the negotiation and renegotiation of new contracts.
  • Achieve desired outcomes by overseeing daily interactions with contract service providers in accordance with a contract management strategy, aligned with regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams to review, maintain, and renegotiate necessary legal agreements.
  • Ensure compliance of business activities within your area of responsibility with relevant external regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify and assess risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating as necessary.
  • Organize and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives to foster effective working relationships and address stakeholder needs and concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Profound knowledge of Procurement and Supplier Management Policies and Frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Background in supplier management within a large, regulated organization.
  • Familiarity with FCA/PRA regulations concerning outsourcing and supplier activities.
  • Expertise in Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Understanding of supplier commercial agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Involvement in managing suppliers during acquisition and divestment processes.
