Supplier Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Management Specialist to join our team at Tesco Bank. As a key member of our Supplier Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful management of our supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key internal client and customer relationships, ensuring business objectives and supplier objectives remain aligned and within rules of business conduct.
- Identify trends, summarize findings, and provide feedback on existing contract performance, providing input to new contract processes and negotiations/renegotiations.
- Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers, working within a contract management plan, in line with regulatory supplier compliance management framework.
- Work with Procurement & Legal to review, maintain, and re-negotiate necessary legal contracts.
- Ensure that business activities within your area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated, escalating where appropriate.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the Procurement & Supplier Management Policy and Framework.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of balancing priorities in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a role within a supplier management environment in a large, regulated or controlled environment.
- Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
- Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management.
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
- Understanding of supplier commercial contracts.
