We are seeking a Supplier Risk Management Specialist to become a vital part of our Supplier Management Policy, Framework, and Systems team at Tesco Bank.

From implementing new systems to revising policies and controls, we are committed to making Supplier Management more responsive to the needs of our business.

Reporting to the Senior Supplier Manager Lead – Policy, Framework, and Systems, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for assessing supplier risks and acting as subject matter experts in Third-Party Risk across the organization. Your primary stakeholders will include Supplier Managers and senior business leaders who rely on suppliers for service delivery.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in Supplier Management and Assurance across various risk domains, providing exposure to senior stakeholders across multiple business areas. You will have the chance to gain experience in diverse risk domains and expand your knowledge and expertise.

You will also have the opportunity to influence and implement process improvements, furthering your career in Third-Party Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct Supplier Risk Assessments for designated risk domains according to a structured review schedule.

· Report findings, collaborate on mitigation strategies, and ensure actions are tracked to completion.

· Support the broader Supplier Management team and Risk Domain experts to maintain appropriate and effective control environments for our suppliers, safeguarding the bank and our customers.

· Assist the Lead for Policy, Framework, and Systems in developing our Third-Party Management Policy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Identify and implement initiatives aimed at driving operational improvements and enhancing the supplier management experience.

Required Qualifications

· Familiarity with Third-Party Risk Management frameworks.

· Proven ability to build trust and credibility through integrity and effective stakeholder management.

· Experience in evaluating third-party control environments and identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

We are looking to fill multiple positions, and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

· Data Privacy, Conduct Risk, and Regulatory Risk.

· IT Service Management and continuity of IT services.

Additional Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of agile frameworks and their practical application in team settings.

· Ability to optimize processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

· Understanding of Financial Services regulations and assurance requirements.

· Experience in data collection and analysis to drive business enhancements.
