About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Management Expert to join our Technology team at Tesco Bank. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business by managing our relationships with strategic suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key internal client and customer relationships to ensure business objectives and supplier objectives remain aligned and within rules of business conduct.
  • Identify trends, summarize findings, and provide feedback on existing contract performance to inform new contract processes and negotiations.
  • Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within a contract management plan, in line with regulatory supplier compliance management framework.
  • Work with Procurement & Legal to review, maintain, and re-negotiate necessary legal contracts.
  • Ensure business activities within your area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with supplier relationships, escalating where appropriate.
  • Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships and ensure stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and addressed.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the Procurement & Supplier Management Policy and Framework.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience of balancing priorities in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a role within a supplier management environment in a large, regulated or controlled environment.
  • Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
  • Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Understanding of supplier commercial contracts.
