We are seeking a Supplier Manager to become a vital part of our Technology division at Tesco Bank.

In this role, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of the services provided by strategic suppliers to your designated business area(s), engaging with relevant internal stakeholders and reporting on performance, service levels, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage essential internal client and customer relationships, ensuring alignment between business and supplier objectives while adhering to business conduct standards.
  • Analyze trends, summarize insights, and provide feedback on current contract performance, contributing to new contract negotiations.
  • Achieve desired outcomes by overseeing daily interactions with contract service providers, adhering to a contract management plan in line with regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams to review, maintain, and renegotiate necessary legal agreements.
  • Ensure compliance of business activities within your area of responsibility with relevant external regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify and assess risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating as necessary.
  • Plan and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives to foster effective working relationships and address stakeholder needs and concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Profound knowledge of Procurement and Supplier Management Policies and Frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Background in supplier management within a large, regulated organization.
  • Familiarity with FCA/PRA regulations concerning outsourcing and supplier activities.
  • Expertise in Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management.
  • Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Understanding of supplier commercial agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing suppliers during acquisition and divestment processes.
