About This Role

As a Mental Health Practitioner within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their families.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive CAMHS assessments for children and families referred to our Tier 3 service.
  • Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, working independently or collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
  • Provide direct therapeutic support to children and young people within the team.
  • Collaborate as a co-therapist with other MDT members when appropriate.
  • Manage a defined caseload, ensuring effective case management practices are implemented.
  • Identify and implement strategies to manage risk for both children and others, adhering to Pennine Care and CAMHS protocols.
