Beechwood College specializes in providing education and residential care for young people and adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other complex needs. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our students through lifelong learning and skill development.

As a Residential Care Manager, you will provide leadership to Team Leaders and support staff, ensuring optimal outcomes for all residents. Your role will involve collaborating with educational and clinical teams to maintain the highest standards of care.

You will promote independence and life skills among our students while working closely with our multidisciplinary team, care coordinators, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

At least 2 years of experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disability care sectors. Registration with Social Care Wales (SCW) is required. QCF level 5 or commitment to achieve it within 6 months of employment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High standards of numeracy and literacy. Experience in managing multiple sites or departments. Understanding of HR policies and practices. Ability to lead and develop a strong team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid Driving License.

All staff in registered services must comply with the registration requirements set by Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW) and are expected to pursue necessary qualifications.
