Beechwood College is a pioneering institution providing specialized education and residential care for individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other complex needs. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our students by promoting lifelong learning and skill development.
As a Residential Care Manager, you will provide leadership to Team Leaders and support staff, ensuring optimal outcomes for all students. Your role will involve collaborating with educational and clinical staff to maintain the highest standards of care.
You will encourage the development of independence and life skills among our students, working closely with our multidisciplinary team and their families.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disability care sectors. Registered with Social Care Wales (SCW). QCF level 5 or willingness to achieve within 6 months of employment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High standards of numeracy and literacy. Experience in managing multiple sites or departments. Understanding of HR practices and policies. Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and manage staff effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Current Driving License.All staff in registered services must comply with the registration requirements of Social Care Wales.
