Senior Facilities Manager

Position Overview

We are excited to present an opportunity for a seasoned and client-oriented Senior Facilities Manager to join our team, working closely with one of our major clients. The Senior Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily facilities management operations at the client's premises, collaborating with a team across multiple locations to ensure the successful delivery of the JLL Integrated Facilities Management contract. This role entails ensuring client and tenant satisfaction, managing service delivery, overseeing both hard and soft services, supporting project initiatives, financial oversight, and leading the JLL team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a high level of satisfaction among client users by promptly addressing their service needs.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, providing direction and mentoring to the JLL team on-site to enhance engagement and excellence in service delivery.
  • Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, task systems, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and quality compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to JLL and client best practices, policies, and procedures, including statutory compliance and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all facilities, project, fit-out, and crisis management activities on-site, ensuring timely solutions and the identification and resolution of potential challenges.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with client key stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and all FM vendors to ensure alignment with the client culture and deliver high-quality service.
  • Monitor PPM schedules, Operations & Maintenance manuals, warranties, task systems, and asset lifecycle registers.
  • Oversee health and safety during events, including contractor supervision, review of health and safety documentation, and collaboration with the Health & Safety Manager.
  • Ensure that office cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standards, with soft services delivered efficiently and with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in managing comprehensive facilities management services, with a preference for project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supply partners effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting, with a focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to network across all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs are essential for this role.
  • Initiative, confidence, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Experience in delivering integrated facilities management contracts on client sites.
  • Degree qualified, preferably in property management, facilities operations, or engineering.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
