Job Summary
The University of the Arts London is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead a team of Facilities Assistants and manage contracted service partners to maintain a secure and well-maintained campus environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage facilities management service strategies to ensure a safe and efficient campus environment.
- Oversee daily operations, including cleaning, maintenance, health and safety, and minor works projects and refurbishments.
- Collaborate with the Campus Manager to monitor and report on service partner performance against established service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable track record of overseeing facilities management operational functions and services within a similar environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
