Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Rock Compliance Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the water hygiene sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a personal sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key national clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute industry vertical strategies to become a leading expert in sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and telesales.
  • Provide quotations and contract briefs to new clients and projects.
  • Work with regional sales teams to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Present new products and services to clients and stakeholders.
  • Train clients and staff on new products and services.
  • Manage and maintain client databases and sales performance reports.
  • Survey sites for quotation purposes.
Account and Contract Handover:
  • Mobilize new contracts and work with the account management team to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Assist with the mobilization of contracts and ensure a successful handover.
Liaison with Clients:
  • Act as an interface between clients and the company, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Attend contract review meetings and support account managers as needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients to generate additional workloads.
  • Deal with client requests and communicate client agendas to other staff members.
Site-Based Working:
  • Work away from the office from time to time, as required by the operational needs of the business.

Required Skills:

  • Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning experience desirable.
  • Vocational training courses relating to water hygiene.
  • Previous exposure to the Water Hygiene sector.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Confident IT user, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Confidence and persuasive manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Full clean driving license.
