Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Rock Compliance Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the water hygiene sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a personal sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key national clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute industry vertical strategies to become a leading expert in sales.
  • Ownership and development of strategic national frameworks to drive business growth.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and turn them into increased revenue.
  • Provide quotations to new clients and prospects.
  • Production of contract briefs and mobilisation plans for new contracts.
  • Identification of sales cross-sell and upsell opportunities with regional sales teams.
  • Presentation of new products and services to new framework customers.
  • Training for clients and internal teams.
  • Produce and maintain client databases with new and potential clients.
  • Survey sites for quotation purposes.
  • Accurate maintenance and reporting of sales performance.
  • Development of new products within industry verticals.
  • Production of PQQ and Tender documents with the Bid Team as required.
Account and Contract Handover:
  • Mobilise new contracts alongside the Mobilisation Manager with involvement from the Account Management Team.
  • Production of contract briefs for handover and embedding Account Managers and handover in month 6.
  • Assist with the mobilisation of contracts.
  • Work with Account Managers to meet customer needs during initial handover.
Liaison with Clients:
  • Serve as an interface between the client and the Company.
  • Attend contract review meetings to support Account Managers when required.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients to generate additional workloads.
  • Deal with client requests.
  • Communicate client agendas and requirements to other members of staff.
  • Ensure that image and standards are maintained at all times.
  • Produce PQQ and Tender documents with the Bid Team as required.
Site-Based Working:
  • Work away from time to time, as defined by the operational needs of the business.
