Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume full accountability for campus projects, providing oversight, leadership, and effective management of external contractors, logistics, and the project master program, serving as the primary contact for Project Managers, Facilities Managers, Engineering teams, and the bank's direct vendors.
  • Act as the main liaison for Project Managers and Programme Managers regarding the project schedule across the London Campus.
  • Facilitate adherence to a six-week look-ahead plan to coordinate concurrent projects.
  • Oversee the PSO Site Construction Manager and provide matrix management for the CEWA Engineer and PSO shift engineering team.

  • Manage communications to bank staff regarding all planned works, proactively engaging with key stakeholders in affected areas.
  • Effectively communicate challenges and support the team in developing practical solutions.
  • Review and manage site operations and logistics with all contractors on-site.
  • Maintain a master program for all projects (PM/FM/Eng).
  • Possess experience managing projects in a live office environment.
  • Supervise site activities across multiple projects and monitor the project timeline.
  • Lead a project office based in the London campus.
  • Ensure the safety of the public and bank employees during operations in a live environment.
  • Conduct daily meetings to coordinate site activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Review and manage site operations and logistics with all contractors on-site.
  • Provide a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with EHS standards for both CBRE and its partners.
  • Establish contingency plans for emergencies.
  • Understand and adhere to site safety regulations, ensuring ongoing training for all team members, including monthly toolbox talks.
  • Ensure timely and complete reporting, maintaining up-to-date and accessible on-site documentation; schedule audits for various services to contribute to performance evaluations.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated operational management capabilities, showcasing professionalism, leadership, and comprehensive knowledge of multi-service business operations, ideally within multi-site regional frameworks.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of motivating both teams and individuals while contributing to the broader CBRE objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • General operational management expertise, with a strong understanding of both management and physical property management delivery, capable of quickly assessing risks and providing decisive direction.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract and service line performance measurement procedures.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to balance competing deadlines.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving business objectives and a commitment to excellence and overcoming challenges.
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships by understanding and addressing customer needs.
  • Accountability-driven, with the ability to set clear, measurable goals and encourage others to take responsibility for their objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team, maximizing performance through effective staffing, performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and retaining management and service delivery personnel.
  • Prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, reviews, and development plans for direct reports.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent qualifications at a further education level are essential.
  • Project Management qualifications such as Prince 2 or APM are preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in business and property management, with a proven track record in driving business growth for large and complex clients.
