About the Role

The University of the Arts London is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead a team of Facilities Assistants and manage contracted service partners to maintain a secure and well-maintained campus environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage facilities management service strategies to ensure a safe and efficient campus environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, including cleaning, maintenance, health and safety, and minor works projects and refurbishments.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Manager to monitor and report on service partner performance against established service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable track record of overseeing facilities management operational functions and services within a similar environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
