Nursing Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Practical Nursing Instructor to join our team at CDI College in Surrey, BC.
Position: Practical Nursing Instructor (Clinical and Classroom)
Reports to: Campus Director
Location: Surrey, BC
Working Hours: Up to 32 Hours weekly
Salary: $35/hr (Preferred LPN)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
- Support the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Act in a manner that upholds the College standards
- Participate in College and Program Activities
- Monitor and review students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as program requires
Requirements:
- Current license with BCCNM
- One year of teaching experience could be considered an asset
- Three or more recent, full-time years' experience in the field
- Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline
- A credential in adult education or willingness to pursue the PID at an accredited post-secondary institution is required
Skills and Abilities:
- Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
- Interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches an asset
- High standards of behaviour, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service
