We are seeking a Product Innovation Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand's future by creating unique and commercially viable Food & Beverage products. The Product Innovation Manager will oversee the comprehensive product development cycle, from initial concept through to market launch, ensuring alignment with current market trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Ideation: Collaborate with the culinary team to brainstorm and develop innovative menu concepts that resonate with the brand's values and customer desires.
  • Market Analysis: Execute in-depth market analysis to uncover emerging trends, consumer demands, and potential opportunities for product innovation.
  • Recipe Formulation: Partner with chefs to create and perfect recipes, ensuring they meet quality, consistency, and profitability standards.
  • Project Oversight: Manage the entire product development process, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and launch, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to identify and source new ingredients that meet the company’s quality benchmarks.
  • Financial Assessment: Conduct financial evaluations and margin analyses to ensure the economic feasibility of new products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all new products adhere to food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Work in close partnership with marketing, operations, and procurement teams to facilitate seamless product launches.
  • Consumer Insights: Collect and analyze consumer feedback on new offerings to inform data-driven enhancements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in product development and menu innovation within the Restaurant, QSR, or Foodservice sectors.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required.
  • Degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, consumer preferences, and financial aspects of the food industry.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
