Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of new and existing beverage products
  • Drive innovation by leveraging knowledge of ingredients, technologies, and market trends
  • Manage projects from conception through to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and packaging teams on product trials
  • Coordinate sensory evaluations and consumer feedback sessions
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives from ideation to market
  • Manage factory trials and product scale-ups, including documentation and reporting
  • Provide guidance on nutritional labeling and product design
  • Engage with external partners for research and testing
  • Work within a cross-functional team to bring innovative products to market

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong passion for product innovation and the beverage sector
  • Proven experience in product formulation, particularly in beverages
  • Demonstrated success in managing product development projects with a solid grasp of food science
  • Experience in transitioning successful concepts into a manufacturing environment
  • Adeptness in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings
  • A degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in managing food development
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and food quality assurance, with HACCP Level 2 being a plus
  • Strong presentation and project management capabilities
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
