Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Innovation Manager to spearhead our new product development initiatives. This role is crucial in executing our innovation strategy, overseeing both new and existing product lines, and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of new and existing product development projects
  • Drive product innovation by leveraging knowledge of ingredients, market trends, and competitor analysis
  • Ensure timely execution of innovation projects within budget from concept to market launch
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and packaging teams on product trials and new technologies
  • Coordinate sensory evaluations and consumer feedback sessions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives from ideation to market readiness
  • Manage factory trials, scale-ups, and product launches, including documentation and reporting
  • Provide guidance on nutritional labeling and packaging design
  • Engage with external partners for research and testing collaborations
  • Work within a cross-functional team to bring products to market
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing sites may be required

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong passion for product innovation and the beverage sector
  • Proven experience in formulation, particularly within the beverage and alcoholic drink markets
  • Demonstrated ability to manage NPD/EPD projects with a solid grasp of food science and manufacturing
  • Experience in successfully launching products in a food manufacturing context
  • Adeptness in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • A degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in managing food development projects
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and food quality assurance systems; HACCP Level 2 certification is a plus
  • Exceptional presentation and project management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
