Commercial Manager Role Overview

Innovation Zero is a leading platform accelerating meaningful action towards a low carbon economy and society. As a Commercial Manager, you will be part of a global network of innovators, funders, policymakers, and enterprises, driving change across disciplines, siloes, and geographies.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing sales strategies to maintain high levels of productive sales activity, face-to-face meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Identifying challenges, developing solutions, and resolving issues that arise during the sales process.
  • Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining a win-win outcome for both parties.
  • Utilizing sales and CRM software to manage leads, track progress, and analyze data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify challenges, develop solutions, and resolve issues that arise during the sales process.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining a win-win outcome for both parties.
