About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Group Human Resources Administrator to join our team at Northwood. As a key member of our HR function, you will provide administrative support to our Telford site and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HR Admin inbox and Recruitment inbox, ensuring timely and efficient processing of queries and applications.
  • Coordinate new starter, changes, and leavers processes, including Maternity and Paternity administration, to ensure seamless transitions and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain the HR Information System, providing accurate and up-to-date information to payroll and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in investigations, taking minutes and preparing outcome letters as required.
  • Prepare recruitment adverts internally and externally, promoting our company culture and values.
  • Project manage various employee experience projects, enhancing the overall work environment and employee engagement.
  • Support with presenting new starter inductions, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Contribute to yearly wellbeing initiatives and monthly communications, promoting a healthy and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with site HR administrators across Northwood sites to deliver Northwood projects, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in an HR administrative role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write, speak, and listen effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Desirable Skills
  • CIPD Level 3-5 qualification or working towards it, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience managing multiple inboxes and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Experience delivering inductions and training sessions, with a focus on employee engagement and development.
