Overview

Screwfix is a leading retailer in the UK, and we're looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, including starters, leavers, amendments, and tax code changes.
  • Set up and maintain Court Orders, SIP & Sharesave, Childcare Vouchers, Loans and advances, and Pension Opt-In.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers and support the management of the relationship.
  • Manage the Payroll shared mailbox and respond to enquiries within the agreed SLA.
  • Reconcile and manage the flow of Auto Enrolment and Pension data to the Pension Administrator.
  • Provide advice to managers on best practice for maintaining SAP Time.
  • Support the business in relevant project initiatives and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Keep up to date with relevant Payroll legislation and best practice.
Requirements
  • Experience in Payroll Services, including understanding of statutory payments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across the business and with third parties.
  • Intermediate Excel skills as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR would be an advantage.
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems and identify process improvement opportunities.
