Payroll Administrator

White Horse Employment is partnering with a world leading business in the consulting and services space based in South Somerset, supporting their search for a Payroll Administrator. This business has invested heavily into their business and boasts state of the art offices leading to a great staff culture.
In this role you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and you will be part of a small team in transactional finance. This is perfect for someone who wants to work as part of a vibrant and forward thinking team and is passionate about their job.
You will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including:
- Overseeing the full payroll cycle for all staff members.
- Guaranteeing adherence to HMRC guidelines and submitting RTI reports.
- Handling payroll inquiries from employees and third-party agencies.
- Administering statutory payments like SSP, SMP, and pension contributions.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Assisting the Finance team with payroll reporting and reconciliation as well as help out with the wider finance team
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience across payroll and general transactional finance as well have experience working with different systems.
