Key Role: Electronics Production Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Production Specialist to join our Production Engineering Team at QinetiQ Target Systems. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the aerospace industry, specifically within Aerial Target / UAS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Research and Development teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturing
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and create technical documentation
- Design and develop test fixtures and tools to improve production efficiency
- Identify opportunities for product quality improvement and cost reduction
- Manage new product introductions and product changes
- Provide technical support for quality investigations and production challenges
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electronic/production engineering
- Experience in radiofrequency testing and electronics design
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) issues and solutions
- Ability to read technical drawings and component data sheets
- Experience with 3D parametric CAD software
