About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Specialist to join QinetiQ, within our Business Delivery Team. QinetiQ is a leading provider of defence-based projects, specialising in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art Unmanned Aerial and Surface Target systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Quality team, dealing with final inspection, internal and supplier non-conformances.
- Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure alignment with product requirements and quality standards.
- Provide detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and evaluation of components, assemblies, and systems.
- Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed.
- Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implement corrective actions.
- Perform internal audits based on established criteria and record the results.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances both with suppliers and internally.
Requirements
- Vocational training in Quality Control Inspections on products, materials, components, and parts on all types of standard and special products.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Ability to independently resolve standard assignments.
- Experience with blueprints, drawings, and parts lists.
- Team player with proficient computer skills.
- Electronic experience (PCDs, Harnesses).
