As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Morepeople 01780, you will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety and quality practices across our UK business. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Technical Manager in ensuring compliance with required standards, identifying and communicating deviations, and providing site technical teams with information on adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration of various databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Contribution to customer complaints investigations to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Support in generating quality statements, such as Certificates of Analysis, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collection, storage, assessment, and maintenance of production and raw material samples database to identify potential issues.
  • Preparation of samples for laboratory testing to ensure accurate results.
  • Completion of allergen rapid testing and arrangement for allergen samples and swabs to be sent to the lab.
  • Conducting Environmental control testing via environmental swabs and samples to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Completion of internal audits, including Glass, Packaging, and Critical Control Points, to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Logging laboratory samples for microbiological, nutritional, pesticide, heavy metal, and shelf-life analysis, and informing relevant personnel when limits are exceeded.
  • Assistance with other projects or tasks to ensure best-in-class standards are implemented.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 training.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
