Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Director to lead our operations and drive strategic growth at Speedy Hire Plc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Vision: Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and business plans, setting long-term goals and objectives for the company.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, profitability, and cost control.
- Project Management: Supervise project managers and ensure successful project delivery.
- Quality Control: Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the management team and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Project Delivery: Accountable for the successful delivery of projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Industry Expertise: A strong background in managing operations, finances, and client relationships within the plant/tool hire industry would be advantageous.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute and performance-focused to ensure people strategy is in line to support company growth.
