We are seeking an experienced Contract Director to lead our operations and drive strategic growth at Speedy Hire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of key contracts, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and business plans, setting long-term goals and objectives for the company.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, profitability, and cost control.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and addressing any client concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Team Management: Supervise project managers and ensure successful project delivery, monitoring project progress, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Leadership Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the management team and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies for market expansion and client acquisition.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies, identifying and managing risks associated with company operations and projects.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Accountability: Accountable for the successful delivery of projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards, as well as the overall performance of the company, including financial results, operational efficiency, and market growth.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Experience of developing large-scale, complex, and multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong background in managing operations, finances, and client relationships within the plant/tool hire industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute and performance-focused to ensure people strategy is aligned to support company growth.
- Track Record: Demonstrable track record of achievement through revenue-driven objectives.
- Financial and Commercial Acumen: Financial and commercial acumen.
