Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY
As a Community Supervisor within our Residential Care Facilities at Barchester Healthcare, your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for our residents, ensuring they receive the personalized care and attention they deserve. You will prioritize the independence, privacy, dignity, and choices of our residents while overseeing and guiding a dedicated team of Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants.

This position entails certain clinical duties, such as monitoring vital signs including weight and blood pressure, as well as performing basic wound care procedures. Throughout your responsibilities, you will serve as a role model for your team, fostering a safe, comforting, and joyful atmosphere for our residents and their families. Building strong relationships both within the facility and with external partners will be essential.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the role of Community Supervisor, you should possess substantial experience in senior care. Experience in supervising staff and a solid understanding of clinical care for the elderly is essential. A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required, along with a commitment to pursue the assessor qualification. Your enthusiasm, determination, and integrity will be key attributes, as well as your ability to communicate effectively, which will help you earn the trust of others.
