Eton Clarke is collaborating with a prestigious Investment Bank in search of a driven and skilled M&A Associate, specializing in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. In this role, you will play a vital part in our Corporate Finance division, spearheading significant transactions and offering strategic counsel to prominent firms navigating the fast-paced TMT environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist in the execution of M&A transactions from start to finish, encompassing due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation processes.
  • Deliver strategic insights to clients within the TMT sector regarding potential M&A prospects, including market assessments, target identification, and deal structuring.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analyses, such as cash flow modeling, business valuations, and scenario planning to facilitate transaction decision-making.
  • Create and present high-quality pitch materials, marketing documents, and client presentations that effectively convey deal opportunities and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of transactions, maintaining robust communication and project management throughout.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments within the TMT sector to provide timely insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Guide junior analysts, ensuring the precision and quality of their contributions while promoting a collaborative and educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. A professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA) is advantageous.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of M&A experience with a strong emphasis on the TMT sector. Proven track record in executing complex transactions and delivering strategic client guidance.

Skills:

  • Outstanding financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases).
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
