About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transaction Advisory Professional to join our M&A origination team at Connect Corporate Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential target investment companies, mapping and researching relevant markets, and highlighting potential targets and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Origination: Proactively identify and assess potential target investment companies, and develop a deep understanding of their financial, strategic, and competitive landscapes.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential targets and shareholders, and analyze their fit for our clients.
  • Prospect Reports: Prepare comprehensive M&A prospect reports highlighting key characteristics, and present findings to our clients.
  • Client Outreach: Lead the outreach to prospective targets, and support the lead advisor throughout the deal development process.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of selected target companies, including financial, strategic, and competitor analysis.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and present presentations to our clients, and provide research information to support transaction execution.
Requirements
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong knowledge of deal origination and business development is highly desirable.
  • Academic Achievement: Evidence of academic achievement, preferably a degree from a reputable institution.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and time management.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
