Position Overview

Role Objective:

Deliver comprehensive client support to Japanese institutional investors, collaborating closely with the Macro Sales team based in Tokyo. Ensure coverage for Japanese institutional clients during European and US market hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically distribute a range of investment solutions within the global fixed income and foreign exchange sectors.
  • Effectively communicate our internal resources (such as research reports, trading insights, and market strategies) to clients in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with investors.
  • Analyze clients' financial health through their periodic earnings reports.
  • Ensure consistent and thorough information exchange (including market and client insights) with the Macro Sales team in Tokyo.
  • Foster solid relationships and maintain open communication with internal teams, including trading, syndication, financial engineering, and back office.
  • Assist clients with international travel arrangements and participate in meetings as needed.
  • Adhere to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all internal processes, including KYC compliance, product eligibility registration, trade limit establishment, and account setup.
  • Report any issues to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.

Required Profile and Skills:


• Profound knowledge and understanding of the global fixed income and foreign exchange markets.

• A commercial mindset aimed at expanding the client base and enhancing product distribution.

• An entrepreneurial spirit to develop new business opportunities.

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.

• Strong negotiation and presentation capabilities.

• Familiarity with various master agreements, including ISDA, CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA.

• In-depth understanding of Japanese business etiquette.

• Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English.

• A collaborative team-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
