Job Description

A Japanese bank based in London is currently recruiting a Japanese-speaking Relationship Manager (VP).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Relationship management with Japanese Corporate customers and Asian Corporate / FI customers
  • Monitoring customer financial conditions and evaluating credit ratings
  • Controlling legal and business-related documents with customers
  • Developing banking relationships with people in specific industries or financial institutions
  • Appropriate control of credit monitoring, credit application, and other credit-related processes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of good sales and marketing experience in the financial industry
  • Good analysis skills in Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow, Credit Rating, and Credit applications
  • Good knowledge of Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Trade Finance, and Treasury
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese
  • Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Sufficient knowledge of MiFID II and Financial Crime
  • Knowledge of financial products, with a strong understanding of M&A, DCM, Acquisition finance, and Trust
