Job Title: Japanese Speaking Relationship Manager (VP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Speaking Relationship Manager to join our team at Centre People Appointments. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing business relationships with Japanese corporate customers and Asian corporate/financial institution customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and enhance business relationships with Japanese corporate customers and Asian corporate/financial institution customers.
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor periodically customer's financial conditions and evaluate if the rating is appropriate.
  • Document Control: Precisely control legal and any business-related documents with customers.
  • Credit Management: Appropriate control of credit monitoring, credit application, and any other credit-related process.
  • Industry Knowledge: Develop banking relationships with people in specific industries or financial institutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: +3 years of good sales and marketing experience in the financial industry.
  • Analysis Skills: Good analysis skills in B/S, PL, Cash Flow, Credit Rating, Credit applications.
  • Corporate Finance: Good knowledge of corporate finance, project finance, trade finance, and treasury.
  • Language Skills: Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese.
  • PC Skills: Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Financial Knowledge: Sufficient knowledge of MiFID II and financial crime.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of financial products, excellent knowledge of M&A, DCM, acquisition finance, and trust would be advantageous.
