Job Summary
Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Surveyor to join our Estates Team. As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a commercially effective professional estates and valuation service in an urban/rural context.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Estates Surveyor in becoming an Estates Surveyor through career progression
- Deliver a range of services including acquisitions, disposals, compulsory purchase orders, and valuations
- Work on major transport schemes and support the Transport Team
- Support the Management Team in undertaking all aspects of estates management for the County Council's large service portfolio
- Contribute to the development of the Estates Service and the County Council's overall strategy
Requirements
- Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) or actively working towards qualification
- Experience in delivering a commercially effective professional estates and valuation service in an urban/rural context
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Use of a car in connection with the duties of this post
